Robotics Club - Highvale P.S. Weather Station

posted 14 Sep 2017, 17:58 by Highvale Administration

Have you ever wondered about the weather at Highvale PS? Have you ever wondered how much rainfall there actually has been this winter?

We are the Robotics Club and so far we have set up an awesome weather machine for Highvale PS!

We have pondered about a weather instrument as a Robotics Club and we are also very lucky that we have a parent volunteer, Lance and Mr Gill who has shown us the different parts of the weather instrument and how it works. Each Tuesday lunch time we get together and investigate areas that relate to coding with EV3 Mindstorm robots, Snap and now our brand new weather station!

We have set up a computer near the STEAM room which is called “The Highvale Weather Hub”. The computer receives all the data from the instrument that we have set up on top of the MPC. It collects rainfall, the humidity, outside & inside temperature, wind, barometer, anemometer and much more!

If you would like to track our weather station data you can do so at:
